Champion jockey Tony McCoy has elected to ride Butlers Cabin for Jonjo O'Neill in the 2009 Grand National. McCoy has kept everybody waiting this week whilst considering his options but he has obviously decided that his mount from last year will give him the best chance.
It will McCoys 14th ride in the race but he has yet to win. He fell at Bechers Brook on the second circuit last year when travelling well but provided he can negotiate a clear round this time Butlers Cabin must be in with a great chance. Punters should expect Butlers Cabin odds, currently around 10-1 to shorten today.
