The name may say it all as with each year that goes by champion jockey Tony McCoy is running out of time to ride a winner in the Aintree Grand National. This is a race that he would love to win before time runs out on his illustrious career and the horse that just might give him that success could well be Can't Buy Time.
Can't Buy Time fell at the 18th fence in last years Grand National when he never looked like getting into the race after a mistake at the first which clearly unsettled him. On his second start this season he looked a lot more assured in his jumping and this may well ensure that this season he is a real contender for the April feature.
Following his victory on New Years Day at Cheltenham his trainer Jonjo O'Neill suggested that he would be aimed for the race once again and the bookies have reacted by shortening his odds into 33/1 and if Tony McCoy decides to make him his mount then he will be a lot shorter on the day of the race, which this year is Saturday April 10th.
