Tricky Trickster Clear Grand National Favourite After Aon Chase Win

This weekend has seen some big moves in the 2010 Grand National Betting with Tricky Trickster the main mover following his stunning win in the Aon Chase, the Paul Nicholls trained horse has been slashed all the way in and is now the clear favourite for the National in April. All the focus this weekend in the Aon was on Denman who went off as a huge odds-on favourite to pick up the race, it was not to be though for the 2008 Gold Cup winner as he unseated AP McCoy.

Following his win at Newbury Tricky Trickster is now as short as 10/1 with Bet365 for the win at Aintree with his odds almost cut in half with most bookies as a result. He will now go to the Gold Cup at Cheltenham with good each/way chances behind Denman and Kauto Star with the National just a few weeks later the big target.

Niche Market should not be ignored here either as he also ran a fantastic race despite being pipped on the line and the Irish National Winner looks a live contender for Aintree. He is an ideal National type and connections have been talking up his chances recently, the bookies agree having cut his odds into second favouritism behind Tricky Trickster and he has a real chance of winning the big one come April 10th.
