We are just a day away now from the 2010 Grand National and the betting is hotting up with plenty of market movers in the latest odds. The big move today has been for The Package who continues to be well backed with punters across the country. His price has been slashed gradually over the last few days and the David Pipe yard are certainly bullish about his race chances.
The Package is now as short as 12/1 with Paddy Power for the victory and he may well go off even shorter if the gamble continues. Graham Lee will take the ride on the seven year old and he looks to have all the skills to run a big race tomorrow. Another market mover today has been King Johns Castle who was second two years ago, plenty of punters have been backing him to place once again in 2010. He started the day at around the 40/1 mark but has been cut into as short as 25/1 with some firms ahead of the race. Experience over the fences is often the key and that could stand King Johns Castle in good stead, he ran a cracker in 2008 and many punters are hoping he will do the same tomorrow afternoon.
