Grand National entries down to 81 following the latest forefit stage which took place yesterday with all the leading players in the betting still left in at this point.
The 2005 Scottish Grand National winner Joes Edge was among the 81 entries still left in at the second forfeit stage, but at 49th in the list he is not guaranteed a run in the 4m4f marathon in two weeks time.
Joes Edge along with stable-mate Aces Four were at Aintree for a racecourse gallop at the annual media lunch yesterday.
Trainer Murphy was not on hand, but his two horses worked a circuit of the Mildmay course.
