Grand National Betting 2012 - Favourite Colour

One of the more novel ways to pick a Grand National winner is to back a horse based on your favourite colour. With 40 runners in the field there is sure to be a colour to suit the more casual punter out there with the Jockeys sporting a wide array of silks at Aintree. Having a bet based on the jockey wearing your favourite colour is a quick and easy way to get involved with the Grand National without having to spend hours pouring over the form and stats.

When looking for successful colours to follow in the race we have seen plenty of winners in green in recent years with the likes of Dont Push It and Hedgehunter wearing the colour to glory. Some jockeys will wear the same colours on a regular basis as they have jobs with specific trainers or owners so it is almost guaranteed that AP McCoy for instance, will be wearing the green and gold of his employers as he did on board Dont Push It in 2010.
