Grand National Entries 2008

The 2008 Grand National Entries are outlined here and before the 40 Grand National Runners are selected this large number of Grand National entries will be narrowed down to the maximum field that is allowed to take part. As such there are a number of stages where horses shall be eliminated and at this early point there are well over 150 horses still eligible to run. Many of these will defect in the build up to the race and not all horses will make the minimum weight. Only the top 40 rated horses will get the all clear to participate and you should check out this list from time to time to see if your fancy is still in the possible line up. It is only in the last few days before the 5th April that the final 40 Grand National horses are announced.
