Well Grand National Day is finally here and the first race on the card is this excellent looking Mersey Novices Hurdle, the race is run over 2m 4f and a big field is set to fight it out in 2010. There looks set to be a good field assembling for this one with the likes of Najaf for Paul Nicholls set to be well backed, he is a nice horse who could go well for the Champion Trainer.

Also in the race is Quantitiveeasing for Nicky Henderson who is a classy type and will go into the race well backed, the same can be said of Peddlers Cross who has won on his last four runs.
