Novice Hurdle Day 2 Race Card

Day 2 at Aintree kicks off with the excellent Novice Hurdle race as we get the cream of the crop in this division facing off against each other in what is always a competitive betting heat for punters. Last season we saw a great race between General Miller and Menorah so we should expect the same quality in 2012, the race card will feature all of the contenders at the five day and 48 hour declaration stage. It is a comprehensive guide including the form line as well as the connections for each of the entries for the Novice Hurdle; it is a must for punters who are looking to have a bet.

Race OverviewNot so competitive as the Supreme Novices' at Cheltenham and a good opportunity for DARLAN (nap), who was second there, to go one better. He doesn't have much in hand of fifth-placed Prospect Wells on that form but has the greater capacity for improvement and, as such, may extend his superiority over that rival, who nonetheless is the main danger.
