The Anniversary 4 year old Hurdle gives the younger horses a chance to record a big win on the first day of the Grand National meeting, it is one the better race son the card for Day 1 and we also get a good standard of field for this race. Last season we had a nice winner in Orsippus who beat the likes of Barizan and Sanctuaire so it really was a high class renewal and we would expect a similar sort of standard for the 2011 race.
All eyes will be on Countrywide Flame this year who looked a real star at the Cheltenham Festival last month when he won the Triumph Hurdle and he will be looking to once again beat the classy Grumeti at Aintree.
