The Red Rum Chase is of course named after the legendary three time winner of the Grand National and has been part of the Aintree Festival since 1997, it is always a competitive race and we should expect the same in 2012. It is run over 2 miles on the Mildmay Course at Aintree and is a Grade 3 race over 12 fences.
The first day of the Festival is known as Liverpool Day at Aintree and the Red Rum Chase is one of the highlights of an excellent days racing.
